Festival Season may have slowed this blog down, but it's still going - I swear!

 Hello there.

I know I haven't written much on this blog because things have been busy with Ohio Festivals, now that I'm starting to attend some fests again.

But I don't want you to feel that this blog won't continue to produce further posts...

...most often about food (this is from Sushi Ting in Columbus)...

...sometimes about events, like the Oberlin Big Parade...

 ...and sometimes even about Max...

 ...because he's adorable...

 ...graceful...

...and is all about eating (which is fitting for this blog).

So just ignore any signs that this blog is closed...it isn't.

And I'll continue posting here.

So until then the next post....

...enjoy this clip from the Polka Pirates as seen at Third Thursday in Vermilion.

 See you soon!

Max in Oregon: Part II of III

I admit that I was a little worried about taking Max all the way to Portland, Oregon with such long travel days, time changes and baby-stuff lugging.

Fortunately...

...he seemed pretty excited about the trip at the airport...

...in great spirits on the plane...

...and rather relaxed during a great part of the flight.

After arriving in Portland around 9 pm (midnight in Ohio)...

...it did take a bit before he would fall asleep.

But fortunately, the next morning, when Mom needed to work...

...he was rather cooperative...

...in the most interesting of sleeping positions.

Throughout the trip in Portland and Eugene...

...Max went often to Voodoo Doughnuts...

...took pics with Dad via his IPhone...

...kept Mom company during dinner at Paley's Place...

...showed a great interest in technology...

 ...sometimes took over the bed...

...occasionally flashed his two teeth...

 ...and slept...

 ...slept...

...slept...

...kept Dad company while he slept...

...and slept.

In short...

...he had a wonderful trip!
