An Evening at Le Bistro du Beaujolais - Olmsted Falls

Last weekend, Julia and I had the chance to dine at Le Bistro du Beaujolais in Olmsted Falls where you could order courses ala carte or through a fixed price menu which allowed you select among a few options per course.

Here is what we got...

Julia's appetizer of mussels steamed in white white with a curry cream sauce.

My escargot over garlic butter toast puff pastries.

Julia's skate wing with horseradish sauce.

My rabbit in white wine and Dijon mustard sauce.

Julia's peach cake with raspberry sauce.

My floating island meringue with a cream sauce, caramel and toasted almonds.

This restaurant, owned by couple Georges and Claudie (from France) is definitely worth a visit.  The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and experience fantastic enough to bring us back for a second (and third and fourth...) time.

Check it out!
