On our second day in Padua, we walked around town...
...before getting some tramezzinos for lunch (at least, I did).
That evening, we hung out with Elisabetta and Aldo...
...who took us to our probably favorite gelateria La Romana...
...where I got this ricotta and caramelized fig ice cream paired with almond brittle cherry.
Delicious!
We followed the ice cream with a walk in Padua, stopping at St. Anthony's (Il Santo) for a visit...
...but Julia had to buy something to cover her arms before entering the church...
...which became a toy for Max shortly afterwards.
We finished the evening with a pizza...
...and even brought Max's leftovers home with us (although we never ate the rest of it).
